Eoghain Ryan BE MSc CEng MIEI (Managing Director) Chartered Engineer

Eoghain Ryan, one of the founding directors of Ryan & Associates completed a MSc. in Fire Safety Engineering at the University of Ulster,  Jordanstown. Eoghain is also an engineering graduate of NUI Galway graduating in 1999. Eoghain has extensive experience of working in consultancy and in Local Authorities.

Eoghain worked in industry since 1999 and has held such positions as Assistant Chief Fire Officer with Westmeath and Cork fire authorities and also as a fire safety consultant in a consultancy in Dublin. As A.C.F.O he had a dual role in prevention and operations and the knowledge garnered during his time there has proven invaluable in the role of a consultant.

Eoghain's experience within the local authority and within consultancy have served to provide Eoghain with unparalleled experience.

Ailish Ryan BE MSc. MIEI - Director

Ailish Ryan is a director of Ryan & Associates and has completed a MSc. in Fire Safety Engineering at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown. Ailish’s experience extends over 7 years, and she has gained extensive experience with all types of developments ranging from very large scale shopping centres, residential complexes, hotels to all types of small jobs, both nationally and internationally.

Ailish worked as Senior Fire Engineer for a Large Fire Safety Engineering practice, she also worked for Fire Safety consultants in both Glasgow and London where she garnered an extensive knowledge of the relevant UK legislation.


Tom Ryan BE CEng FIEI - Chartered Engineer

Tom Ryan has recently joined Ryan & Associates having worked for 32 years with Coillte, 15 of which as a Chief civil engineer with Coillte Teoranta, the State Forestry board. Tom Ryan has extensive experience of building unbound roads and associated civil engineering works and associated terrain to facilitate the timber industry.

Tom has also worked on the design and construction of mass sites and wind turbines. He is also the co - author of Roadman which is commonly used for the design of unbound roads in forestry and similar industries.

Tom also worked as a consultant internationally and has given numerous lectures and delivered papers on Road construction.
